Carpool to Your Station or Terminal

À deux c'est toujours mieux - Covoiturage

Parking Pass No Longer Required

You no longer need a parking pass to use the carpool parking spaces. We will be switching to the honour system. If you already have a parking pass, you may dispose of it right away.

How Does it Work?

Now that passes are no longer required, exo will trust dedicated parking space users to abide by the following rules:

  • Minimum 2 people aged 16 or over per car

  • No reserved spots – first come, first served

  • No registration required

Where Are the Carpool Parking Spots?

Many reserved parking spots are available to carpoolers across ARTM (Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain) territory. One of their key benefits is that they are located near platforms and terminals. To see how many spots are available at your nearest exo parking lot, check our park-and-ride map.

Make sure all people travelling in the same vehicle are wearing proper face coverings. Let’s be careful out there!

Carpooling Benefits

Simple & Free

No pass or registration required: just find a carpooling partner!

Flexible & Practical

Set a departure and return time with your carpool partner(s), and park in the designated spots.

Economical & Ecological

You can save money by choosing to split your vehicle usage costs with your carpool partners. Plus, carpooling helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and road traffic.

The carpool program is offered by the ARTM (Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain) in collaboration with exo, the STM (Société de transport de Montréal), the STL (Société de transport de Laval) and the RTL (Réseau de transport de Longueuil).
